start by:a) connection of anti-pivot link1. Put parking brake in the "ON" position.2. Lower guard from under torque converter and transmission. Remove front section of engine crankcase guards.3. Put blocks under rear tires as shown. 4. Install two 50 ton screw jacks (1) under bumper as shown. 5. Remove lubrication line (2) from the rear support. 6. Remove all bolts (3) from the rear support cover except the bottom bolt. 7. Loosen the bottom bolt and let the rear support cover (4) move down.8. Use two persons, remove bottom bolt and then remove rear support cover (4). Weight of the cover is 70 lb. (32 kg). 9. Remove bearing (5) from support. 10. Remove bolts (6) and plate (7) from the rear support. 11. Remove bearing (8) from support. 12. Remove two nuts (11) from each side of the front support. Remove two bolts (9) and remove pipes (10) from under the bolt heads. 13. Install the bolts (9) and nuts (11) again as shown. Bolts (9) and (11) are used in this way to keep the front support and rear axle in position while the rear support is removed.14. Remove the other two nuts and bolts from each side of the front support. 15. Remove eight bolts (12) from each side of the rear support. 16. Install two 3/4"-10 NC forged eyebolts (13) in the rear support. Fasten straps and tool (A) to the eyebolts as shown. Fasten straps and a hoist to the rear support. Put a 20 ton jack in position under axle housing to hold it in position.17. Lift the machine with the 50 ton jacks away from the rear support until the dowels in the rear support are free of the mounting pads on the machine.18. Use tool (A) to pull the support from the axle housing. 19. Lower the support on to a 4 ton floor jack. Remove tool (A) and straps. Disconnect straps from hoist. Remove rear support (14) from under machine. Weight of the rear support is 850 lb. (388 kg).Install Rear Support
1. Put rear support (1) in position under the machine with a 4 ton floor jack.2. Fasten straps to each side of the rear support. Fasten straps to a hoist. 3. Lift rear support (1) into position with the hoist and push it on to the rear axle housing. Lower the machine with the 50 ton jacks on to the front and rear supports. Make sure the rear support dowels are in alignment with the mounting pads on the machine. Remove straps and hoist. 4. Install eight bolts (2) on each side of the rear support. Tighten these bolts to a torque of 640 80 lb.ft. (865 110 N m). 5. Install three bolts (3) and nuts (4) on each side of the front support. Make sure to install the pipes under the bolt heads that were removed during removal of rear support. Tighten nuts (4) to a torque of 640 80 lb.ft. (865
