Immediately before installation, put a thin layer of oil on the contact surfaces of the metal seal rings. The seal rings must be assembled square with the bore. Rubber toric seals must not be twisted. Do not allow rubber toric seals to bulge. (2) At assembly, lubricate the surfaces of the 121-0834 Bushing assemblies. (3) At assembly, lubricate the 1H-6227 O-Ring Seals. (4) Lubricate the bore lightly with lubricant that is being sealed. (5) Assemble the plug into the stopper to dimension (A). The plug must not be recessed below the surface of the stopper. (A) Dimension ... 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.2 inch)The capacity of an empty roller is 0.30 0.02 L (18.307 1.221 in 3 ). Remove the plug from the track roller. Fill the track roller with Caterpillar HYDO oil that has a SAE 30W viscosity grade. Reinstall the plug in the track roller.
