Operation Description: eid 9967 External Hard Drive not MountedFollow this procedure if an event eid 9967 External Hard Drive not Mounted occurs. This code is triggered when the system determines there is no external hard drive installed on the machine. This code causes no immediate negative issues on the AMT. This code is meant to alert the Cat MineStar System controllers of the lack of a hard drive.Test Step 1. VERIFY A HARD DRIVE HAS BEEN INSTALLED ON THE AMT.
Visually look in the autonomy cabinet on the platform of the AMT to ensure a hard is physically present.
Ensure that all connections are secure.Expected Result:Hard drive not installed.Results:
Hard drive not installed. - Proceed to Test Step 3
Hard drive currently installed. - Proceed to Test Step 2
Loose connections are discovered. - Proceed to Test Step 2Test Step 2. CHECK USB CABLE AND CONNECTIONS.
Unplug and reinsert USB connection to the hard drive and Auto2 ECM.
Inspect cable for damage. Replace if necessary.
Ensure that the LED on the back of hard drive case is lit.Note: The LED being lit only proves that the connection is complete and the drive is receiving power. The LED being lit does NOT confirm that hard drive is communicating with Auto2 ECM.Expected Result:Loose connections and damaged cables are replaced.Results:
Loose connections and damaged cables are replaced. - Proceed to Test Step 4Test Step 3. REPLACE OR INSTALL HARD DRIVE.
Remove existing hard drive, if present.

eid 9967 still appears. Original hard drive has been removed and replaced with a new hard drive. - Proceed to Test Step 2
