Wheel LoadersThere have been some questions about the illustrations on Pages 136 and 136A in the 988B Wheel Loader Parts Book, Form SEBP1079. The 3P377 Shaft is shown as a straight shaft in the lower illustration on Page 136 and as a tapered shaft in the lower illustration on Page 136A. This is because the shaft was first made as a straight shaft then later changed to a tapered shaft. The part number did not change. 3P380 Basic Gear Pump Groups that are serviced can have either the straight or tapered shaft. Any new shafts ordered will have the taper. The tapered shaft was a direct replacement for the straight shaft when it was released.
