Personal injury can result from flame cutting or welding on painted areas.The effect of gasses from burned paint is a hazard to the person doing the cutting or welding.Do not flame cut or weld on painted areas.

Remove hitch plates (1) and (2) .

Location of the Mounting Tabs on the Front Frame
Use shielded metal arc welding in order to apply the 5 mm (0.2 inch) fillet weld to the front of the three tabs.Note: The tabs that have broken loose from the frame need to be repaired. Reweld the tabs to the frame on both sides of the tab. Use shielded metal arc welding in order to apply the 5 mm (0.2 inch) fillet weld.
Grind out grooves in the two hitch plates in order to allow space for the new welds on the front of the tabs. Reinstall hitch plates (1) and (2) .
