Fasten baffle (44) with two bolts (45), two hard washers (46), two hard washers (47), two washers (48) and two nuts (49) to the drilled slotted holes (AD) .Note: Leave baffle (44) loose during installation. You will need to reach around the baffle to install the washers and nuts.

Fasten baffle (44) with one bolt (45), one hard washer (46), and one hard washer (47) to new plate assembly (40) .

Weld two additional bracket assemblies (50) to the outrigger (cab) (AP). Use the newly slotted holes (AC) that were added to the modified cab belly plate (AB) to locate the brackets.Use a grinder in order to clean the weld areas. Completely remove all paint, rust, scale, slag, dirt, moisture, tape, etc before welding.Note: Before welding, preheat the welding areas to the proper temperature. Use 164-3310 Infrared Thermometer in order to check for the proper preheat temperature.

Reassemble the cab belly plate (AB). Use bolts and washers that were removed in Step 1 to secure the cab belly plate to the machine.

Reinstall the LH ATAAC tube (H) .

Reseal the fresh air intake path with new seal (51) .

Reassemble LH side assembly (G) .Note: If necessary, use a suitable lifting device in order to lift the LH side assembly (G). The weight of the LH side assembly is 11.0 kg (24 lb).
Reconnect the front headlamp (C) and the ground level shutdown switch. If equipped, reconnect side flood lamp (F) .
Reassemble front grill assembly (E) .Note: If necessary, use a suitable lifting device in order to lift the front grill assembly (D). The weight of front grill assembly (E) is 26.5 kg (58 lb).
Reassemble top hood cover (B) .
Close hood (A) .

Remove baffle (AR) at the bottom of the air conditioner cover. This will allow cool air to enter the air conditioner compartment.
