The new shipping configuration provides several improvements over the former shipping configuration. The required time for field assembly has been reduced. Because the differential and final drives are fully assembled, the rear axle assembly does not need to be opened during the field assembly or during the commissioning procedure. Therefore, the risk of contaminating the rear axle assembly is reduced.Adaptable To: The new shipping configuration is effective with the following off-highway trucks: 776D (PIN: AFS79), 777D (PIN: AGC454), 777D HAA (PIN: AGY78), 784C (PIN: 2PZ102), 785C (PIN: APX180), 785C HAA (PIN: 5AZ274), 789C (PIN: 2BW309) and 793C (PIN: ATY216).The new special instructions that relate to the new shipping configuration will be announced in Service Magazine articles at a later date.
