Sudden movement or accidental starting of the machine can cause personal injury or death to persons on or near the machine.To prevent personal injury or death, perform the following:Park the machine on a smooth, level surface.Lower the work tool to the ground and engage the parking brake.Stop the engine and remove the key.Block the wheels and install the steering frame lock.
The implement cycle time can be checked in order to verify a complaint about slow implement speed. This test will also help to determine whether all functions are slow or only one function is slow.Before performing the following procedure, verify that the engine is developing adequate power by performing the torque converter stall test.Reference: For more information about the torque converter stall test, refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "Torque Converter Stall and Implement Pump Double Stall - Test" for the machine that is being serviced.Machine Preparation
Move the machine to a hard, level surface that is free of debris.
Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine.
Shift the transmission to neutral.
Warm the hydraulic oil to normal operating temperature. The hydraulic oil must be at a temperature of 65 3°C (150 5°F) in order to obtain accurate results.Note: Run the machine at high idle in order to test cycle times.Cycle Time (Tilt and Tip Cylinders)

When the tilt mode switch (1) is moved to the FORWARD position, the solenoid valve is energized. The dual tilt control valve moves to the SINGLE TILT position. When tilt mode switch (1) is in the SINGLE TILT position, only one tilt cylinder moves.Dual Tilt Mode
When tilt mode switch (1) is pressed into the BACKWARD, the solenoid valve is de-energized. The dual tilt control valve moves to the DUAL TILT position. The tilt cylinders move in opposite directions.Blade Tip Mode
When the switch for the blade tip mode (2) is depressed, the blade can be tipped. If the switch for the blade tip mode (2) is not depressed, the blade cannot be tipped.Cycle Time (Lift Cylinder)
