ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the 188-4750 Oil Pan with a 330-2199 Oil Pan and related parts. The new pan provides additional clearance between the steering components and the pan. Refer to Service Magazine article, "A New Oil Pan Is Used for the Engine Coupling on 797 and 797B Off-Highway Trucks" for additional information.

If there has been a previous repair, part age/hours will apply. Retain a copy of the previous repair invoice in the dealer's records for audit purposes, and specify repair date and machine hours in the "Additional Comments" section of the warranty claim.
Exception: Regardless of age, if the new pan is installed at engine overhaul, this program will pay 33% d/n parts cost and no labor. The pan removal and installation is required regardless.
