Remove O-ring seal (6) from yoke (5).
Remove yoke (5) from the front drive shaft. The yoke is a slip fit to the drive shaft. Note: Be sure to mark the orientation of yoke (5) to the front drive shaft before removal.

Remove bolts (7), the washers, and nuts (9) that fasten carrier bearing housing (8) to the front frame.

Install Tooling (B) in the threaded holes of carrier bearing housing (8). Tighten Tooling (B) evenly in order to free carrier bearing housing (8) from the front loader frame.

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to carrier bearing housing (8) and to the front drive shaft.
Use Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove carrier bearing housing (8) from the drive shaft. The weight of carrier bearing housing (8) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).

Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to carefully lower front drive shaft (1) to the ground. The weight of front drive shaft (1) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb).

Remove bolts (10), bearing retainer (11), and bearing spacer (12) from carrier bearing housing (8).

Remove O-ring seal (13) from carrier bearing housing (8).

Use Tooling (D) in order to remove lip seal (14) from bearing retainer (11).

Position carrier bearing housing (8) onto suitable cribbing. Use a suitable hammer and a suitable punch in order to remove bearing cups (15) and bearing cones (16).

Use Tooling (D) in order to remove lip seal (17) from carrier bearing housing (8).
