Turn the battery disconnect switch to the off position.

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device around counterweight (1) .

Remove bolts (2). Remove counterweight (1). Repeat for other side.

Remove bolt (3) and battery box (4). Repeat for opposite side.

Disconnect harness assembly (5) .

Attach Tooling (B) and (C) and a suitable lifting device to counterweight (7). Remove bolts (6) and counterweight (7). The weight of counterweight (7) is approximately 317.5 kg (700 lb).
