Problem
Certain 3406B Generator Set Engines (Standby - with a 9Y0432 450 Frame SR4 Generator) may not have the correct fan and/or fan bolts.

Parts Needed
8 - 1A1460 Bolt 1 - 4P0350 Fan-Vent
Action Required
Remove the generator air exhaust fan screen cover. Replace as many existing 9S1366 Bolts as are accessible, with 1A1460 Bolts. Rotate the engine to remove the remaining bolts for a total of eight. Tighten all bolts to a torque of 100 +/- 15 N.m (75 +/- 11 lb ft). Check the length of any generator fan blade. The correct fan blade length is 127 mm (5 in) from the tip of the blade to its root. If the fan blade measures 114.3 mm (4.5 in) it needs to be replaced with a 4P0350 Fan-Vent.
