(2) Navigation buttons The washdown function and settings can be selected from the screed display menu options. Display (1) and navigation buttons (2) are located on screed operator stations (left shown).Software configures navigation buttons (2) as inoperative, momentary, or toggling depending on the current menu function. The screed displays communicate selections to the machine ECM via CAN.

(4) Navigation icons The washdown function and settings can also be selected from tractor display (3) menu options. Display and navigation icons (4) are located on each tractor operating station (left shown). Navigation icons (4) are touchscreen inputs. Software configures these icons for the current menu function. Tractor display (3) communicates selection of the touchscreen inputs to the machine ECM through the CAN bus.Washdown Operation

Washdown icon (5) is located on Functions screen (4).The operator activates the washdown system by first, selecting machine icon (2) on operator display (1). From Machine screen (3), the operator selects the "Functions" bar. From Functions screen (4), the operator then selects washdown icon (5).Washdown icon (5) turns green and slides to the right, indicating washdown system is ON (6). The washdown system pump operates until a configurable timer expires. Alternatively, the operator can select the washdown icon again to toggle the system OFF.Washdown Timer Setting

(11) OK icon The configurable timer for the washdown system is located on Wash screen (9). Washdown timer (10) limits the run-time of the washdown pump, providing an adjustable auto-off feature. The operator accesses washdown timer (10) through Machine screen (3). From this screen, the "Settings" bar is selected. On Settings screen (7), the "Timers" bar is selected. From Timers screen (8), the operator then selects the "Wash" bar. On Wash screen (9), washdown timer (10) is set using the "Set Duration" adjuster arrows. The left arrow subtracts time. The right arrow adds time.OK icon (11) must be selected to set the duration value. Washdown timer (10) value is yellow when a change is pending. The value is white when the duration is set.The washdown timer can be configured from zero to 30 minutes in increments of 1 minute. The default timer setting is 15 minutes.
