A 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound - Note: O-rings, gaskets, and seals should always be replaced. A used O-ring may not have the same sealing properties as a new O-ring. A reconditioning procedure should not be degraded because of a low cost component such as an O-ring or a gasket. Use Tooling (A) during the assembly procedure.
Clean the check valve, and clean the area around the check valve prior to installing the check valve.

Apply Tooling (A) to a new O-ring seal. Install the new O-ring seal on check valve (23). Position check valve (23) and install bolts (21).
Position elbow (26) and install bolts (25). Tighten bolts (25) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
Tighten hose clamp (24).
Connect hose assemblies (20) and tee (22) to check valve (23). Tighten elbow (22) to a torque of 150 15 N m (111 11 lb ft).

Position panel assembly (18) and install bolts (19). Position support assembly (16) and install bolts (17).

Install bracket (10). Install bracket (13) and U-bolt (14).
Position filter assembly (9) and install bolts (8). Connect hose assemblies (11) and harness assemblies (12).
Position filter assembly (7) and install bolts (6).

Install panel assemblies (3), (4), and (5).
Connect support assembly (2). Close hood (1).
Fill the hydraulic system with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".
