Install Tooling (E) into shaft assembly (45).
Use Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device to place the pump with the shaft pointing upwards. The pump assembly at this point weighs approximately 204 kg (450 lb).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove bolts (46) from bearing flange (47).
Use Tooling (F) and a suitable lifting device to remove bearing flange (47). The weight of bearing flange (47) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).

Raise the temperature of bearing flange (48) to remove screws (49) and bearings (50).

Remove stop screws (51) from bearing housing (48).

Use a suitable press to remove shaft assembly (45) from bearing flange (48).

Remove retaining ring (52) from shaft assembly (45).
Use suitable press to remove bearing spacer (53) and bearing (54) from shaft assembly (45).

Install Tooling (A) into barrel assembly (55). Use a suitable lifting device to remove barrel assembly (55). Lifting the barrel assembly in this state weighs approximately 36 kg (80 lb).
Remove Tooling (A) from barrel assembly (55).

Removing stroking piston (56) and counter-piston (57) from barrel assembly (55).

Remove used Teflon seal (58) and O-ring seal (59) from stroking piston (56).
