Move screed lift switch (5) to the FLOAT position. Allow the screed to lower to the ground.Note: The screed lift switch on both instrument panels must be in the FLOAT position in order for the screed to lower.
After the screed rests on the ground, move screed lift switch (5) to the HOLD position.

Move throttle control switch (6) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.

After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (7) to the OFF position.
Assemble Tool (A) .
Assemble Tool (B) .
Assemble two sets of Tool (C) .
Connect Tool (A) to one Tool (C). Connect Tool (B) to other Tool (C)

Open right access panel (8) on the right side of the machine.

Remove the cap from port "G" (9) of the generator pump.
Connect Tool (B) to port "G" (9) .

Remove the cap from port "MB" (10) of the generator pump.
Connect Tool (A) to port "MB" (10) .

Remove four bolts (12) (three shown), and remove split flange (11) from port "B" of the generator motor.
Place Tool (D) over port "B" in the generator motor. Install Tool (E) with four bolts (12) .
Place split flange (11) around hose (13). Install Tool (F). Use Tool (G) to secure Tool (F) to split flange.

Remove cap (14) from the POR valve on the generator pump.

Loosen locknut (15), and turn adjustment screw (16) clockwise two turns.
Hold adjustment screw (16). Tighten locknut (15) .
Move engine start switch (7) to the START position. Release the engine start switch when the engine starts.
Move throttle control switch (6) to the HIGH IDLE position twice. For each switch actuation, hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2200 rpm.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on the operator display. Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 5.6 °C (110 10 °F).

Move generator switch (17) to the ON position.
Record the pressure at port "MB" (10) of the generator pump.
Record the pressure at port "G" (9) of the generator pump.
Subtract the pressure recorded in Step 30 from the pressure recorded in Step 29. The differential pressure should be 35000 1400 kPa (5080 203 psi).
Move generator switch (17) to the OFF position.
Move throttle control switch (6) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
Move engine start switch (7) to the OFF position.
If the pressure is outside the specified range, go to Step 36. If the pressures are inside the specified range, go to Step 38.

Replace main relief valve (18).
Go to Step 25.
Reset the POR pressure. Go to Step 22 of Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Pressure Override Valve) - Test and Adjust".
