(19) "Conveyor fold" button
(20) "Ventilation" button
(21) "Rear leg swing in" button
(22) "Rear leg swing out" buttonThe upper operator control station has a 16-button keypad located to the side of the main control panel. Buttons on this keypad control auxiliary hydraulic system functions. The keypad on the upper control station has ventilation button (20). This button controls the optional vacuum dust control system for the cutter chamber. When the system is enabled, fumes are pulled from the chamber and exhausted near the top of the second-stage conveyor. When "ventilation" button (20) is pressed and released, the ventilation system is toggled between enabled and disabled. When the system is enabled, the associated indicator is illuminated.Note: When the machine is placed in standby mode while the ventilation system is enabled, the ventilation system is disabled. When the machine is returned to resume mode, the ventilation system is enabled. The control station keypad is equipped with "conveyor fold control" buttons (19) and (18). On machines equipped with the optional folding system, these buttons control folding of the second-stage conveyor assembly at the front of the machine."Conveyor fold" button (19) sends a FOLD command to the machine ECM. When this button is pressed and held, the upper section of the second-stage conveyor is lowered into the folded position. During the command, the button indicator is illuminated."Conveyor unfold" button (18) sends an UNFOLD command to the machine ECM. When this button is pressed and held, the upper section of the second-stage conveyor is raised to the unfolded position. During the command, the button indicator is illuminated.Note: When the second-stage conveyor drive system is operating, the fold system is disabled. The "rear leg swing in" button (21) and the "rear leg swing out" button (22) send signals to the transmission ECM to control the position of the rear right leg tower. To prevent interference between moving parts, the transmission ECM monitors machine conditions to determine if the rear leg can be repositioned safely. When the right sideplate is raised to a height that would obstruct the right rear leg swing, the swing function is disabled. When this happens, a pop-up message on the operator display prompts the operator to lower the right sideplate.Ground-Level Control Keypad (Rear)
