This Program must be administered assoon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI10290" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI10290" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code.PROBLEM
Two wiring harness clips, which separate the enginewiring harness from the fuel line tubes, were not installed on certainD8R Track-Type Tractors at the factory. With the clips missing the enginewiring harness may rub through the fuel line tube. If the harness rubsthrough the fuel line tube it may allow pressurized fuel to spray ontothe hot engine parts which may result in fire and potential personal injuryor death.AFFECTED PRODUCT

REWORK PROCEDURE
Remove all necessary 7K1181 Cable Straps inorder to route the wiring harness away from the fuel lines, as shown above.Add one 4P8134 Clip, facing the opposite direction of the existing clip,to the top bolt on the front of the engine housing. Orient the clip insuch a way that it does not contact the fuel line. The other 4P8134 Clipwill need to be added, facing toward the front of the machine, as shownin the picture.
Once the 4P8134 Clips are in place, confirmthat the fuel lines are in no way contacting the wiring harness, and securewiring harness to the 4P8134 clips using 7K1181 Cable Straps.
