Fuel Priming Pump
The fuel priming pump is located in the engine compartment on the left side of the machine.

Open the engine access door, if equipped.
Turn the priming pump plunger counterclockwise in order to unlock the plunger. Operate the plunger until you feel resistance.
Push in the plunger. Turn the plunger clockwise in order to lock the plunger.
Start the engine and look for leaks. If the engine does not start, air is trapped in the fuel lines to the engine.
Loosen all fuel injection lines at the cylinder head of the engine. Use two wrenches to avoid breaking the fuel line.
Move the governor control lever to the LOW IDLE position.
Turn the start switch key to START. Crank the engine until all of the fuel lines are purged.
Stop the engine.
Tighten the fuel line nuts to a torque of 40 7 N m (30 5 lb ft).
Start the engine and look for leaks.
Close the engine access door, if equipped.
