1-1 Cleaning
(1) Clean the traveling device using a steam cleaner.1-2 Separation Of Track
(1) Remove track (1) based on I-III TRACK.1-3 Separating Idler Wheel
(1) Attach idler wheel lifter to idler wheel (2) and lift idler wheel (2) using a crane. * Lift with the crane until slight tension applies to the wire rope attached to the idler wheel lifter. (2) Pull out idler wheel (2) and yoke and tension (3) from base frame (4) using a crowbar. (3) Loosen bolts (5) using a ratchet handle and socket, remove bolts (5) and spring washers (6), then detach idler wheel (2) from york and tension (3).1-4 Removal Of Yoke And Tension
(1) Attach the yoke and tension lifter to yoke and tension (3), then pull out yoke and tension (3) from base frame (4).2. Installation
2-1 Installation Of Yoke And Tension
(1) Attach yoke and tension lifter to yoke and tension (3), then insert yoke and tension (3) into base frame (4). * The welded area (longitudinal welding line) of support (3) must come at side. 2-2 Installation Of Idler Wheel
(1) Attach an idler wheel lifter to idler wheel (2), then using a crane install idler wheel (2) onto yoke and tension (3). (2) Couple idler wheel (2) to yoke and tension (3) with bolts (5) and spring washers (6).(3) Tighten bolts (5) to the specified tightening torque using a torque wrench and socket. * Tightening torque of bolts (5). (Unit: kgf cm (ft lb.)) E110, E120: 650 60 (46.93 4.33) E140: 1200 100 (86.64 7.22)2-3 Mounting Of Idler Wheel And Yoke And Tension
(1) Insert idler wheel (2) and yoke and tension (3) into base frame (4) using a crowbar.(2) Remove the idler wheel lifter from idler wheel (2).2-4 Winding Of Track
(1) Wind on track (1) based on I-III TRACK.2-5 Adjustment Of Track Tension
(1) Adjust the tension of track (1) based on OPERATION MANUAL.2-6 Performance Test
(1) Leveled ground travel test 1. Perform the leveled ground travel speed test of the hydraulic excavator, based on "Adjustment and performance test" in WORK SHOP MANUAL. * When travel track, check that track (1) does not suddenly jump forward.* After the test, check idler wheel (2) and track (1) for any abnormal wear.
