Assemble Connecting Coupler (33), Pipe Coupling (34), Adapter (35), and Swivel Elbow (37). Install Face Seal Nut (39) onto Connector (38). Install 1P-2376 Connecting Coupler to the hose assembly of 3S-6224 Electric Hydraulic Pump. Install 6V-9509 Face Seal Plug into the cylinder oil line that is tested.

Assemble Connecting Coupler (33), Pipe Coupling (34), Adapter (35), and Swivel Elbow (37). Install Face Seal Nut (39) onto Connector (38). Install 1P-2376 Connecting Coupler to the hose assembly of 3S-6224 Electric Hydraulic Pump. Install 6V-9509 Face Seal Plug into the cylinder oil line that is tested.
Install the adapter assembly onto the lines to the port for the control valve.
Attach 1P-2376 Connecting Coupler to 1P-2375 Connecting Coupler.
When the supplemental pump is turned on and the control valve being tested or its spool is worn or the control valve malfunctions, the implement whose circuit is being tested may move. Sudden movement of an implement can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.
Start 3S-6224 Electric Hydraulic Pump. Check the connections for leaks.
The 3S-6224 Electric Hydraulic Pump only has a 7.6 L (2 US gal) reservoir. Pump damage may result if the pump is operated with an empty reservoir.
Slowly increase the pressure. Record the pressure, when the relief valve opens. Compare this pressure to Table 7.
