Design of the path for lubrication in the new bearing
To fill bellows seal (1), pump grease through the standard grease point. The standard grease point will fill the cavity on the underside of the pin. This will lubricate the bearing.
Continue to pump grease until a resistance in pressure is noticed on the grease gun. Do not try to add more grease.
Remove the grease gun from the standard grease point.
Install the grease gun to the grease point on bellows seal (1) .Note: The grease gun will need to be held firmly on the grease point. The grease gun will not lock on the grease point.
Fill bellows seal (1) until the bellows seal is full. Grease will exit from the relief's on the top of the seal at this time.Note: Bellows seal (1) is clear. The grease will be visible inside the seal cavity.
