Remove the heat exchanger.
Remove the expansion tank.
Remove the aftercooler.
Remove the electronic unit injectors.
Remove the valve mechanism cover base.
Remove the exhaust manifold.

Remove bolts (2) and washers (3) .
Remove cover (1) and the O-ring seal.

Remove bolts (4) . Remove gear (5) .

Remove bolts (6) , thrust plate (7) , and adapter assembly (8) .

Use bolt (6) in order to remove sealing plate (9) . Remove the O-ring seals.

Remove tube assemblies (10) and (14) . Disconnect hose assembly (13) .
Remove cover (11) .
Disconnect harness assembly (12) .

Remove bolts (15) and damper (16) .

Remove bolts (17) . Remove sealing plate (18) and adapter assembly (19) .

Remove supports (21) .
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to cylinder head (22) . Attach Tooling (B) to the side of cylinder head (22) that is near the turbocharger. The weight of cylinder head (22) is approximately 330 kg (726 lb).
Remove bolts (20) and (23) .
Remove cylinder head (22) . Remove the gaskets, O-ring seals, and the spacer plate.
