A - Loctite 290 - Start By:
Remove crankshaft pulley.
Remove front housing.
Drain engine oil. Refer to Operations and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change"for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Note: Typical oil pump components breakdown.
Remove bolts (1). Remove engine oil pump (2) and engine oil relief valve (3). Note: Oil pump cover bolts (1) are installed using a liquid thread lock. You may need to utilize heat or an impact driver in order to break bolts (1) loose.Note: If engine oil pump (2) must be replaced, replace as an assembly only. Do not replace individual parts.Installation Procedure

Install oil pump regulator valve (3) into engine oil pump (2). Install engine oil pump (2). Place Tooling (A) on bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 7 N m (60 lb in). End By:
Install front cover.
Install crankshaft pulley.
