ECM Display (1) Readout, (2) Diagnostic Code (Fault) Present Indicator (Red), (3) Service Mode Indicator (Yellow), (4) Power Indicator (Green).Calibration mode (Mode 2) is used by service personnel to calibrate the ECM. The calibration procedure is performed to tell the ECM the operating range of the propel lever, the rotor mode switch, the steering mode switch and the front and rear steering position sensors. Calibration should be performed After any mechanical adjustments are made to any of the rotary position sensors or the controlling assemblies, and after a replacement of the ECM.The display enters calibration mode when the mode switch is released while the mode number "-2-" is shown on readout (1). Calibration mode is indicated by a "c" preceding the numbers on the readout.

c20     ON     Reverse propel current minimum    The ECM uses the main display on the ECM for showing calibration information to service personnel. For calibrating the electronic control system, service personnel must place the ECM in calibration mode (mode no. 2). Calibration information is shown in the display area. The service switches are used for changing the display modes. The service switches are located near the ECM. See Testing And Adjusting, "Calibration". Calibration mode is used to perform several adjustments to the ECM. The system will function without these adjustments, but the best performance will result only after these adjustments are made. The calibrations mode are listed in the preceding chart. The service switches are used to select the calibraton and to make any adjustments.
