The valve rotators must be checked at the first 1000 hour inspection and then inspected every 2,000 hours after as specified in the References. This will help insure proper operation of the valve rotators. The valve rotators can be checked by following the procedure listed in the References under "Maintenance Section for First 1000 Hours". An improperly operating valve rotator will shorten valve life through accelerated valve face and valve seat wear.
