Illustration 1. Location of six (6) 3J2682 Brackets on 3J4615 C-Frame Group.If desired, the former blade group can be adapted to fit on the new C-frame group and the new blade group can be adapted to fit on the former C-frame group.
To use the new blade group with the former C-frame group, the six (6) 3J2682 Brackets on the C-frame must be moved forward .75" (19.05 mm). (See Illustration 1.) To use the former blade group with the new C-frame group, the 7J9438 or 4F1121 Bracket, according to which serial number the blade has, must be removed from the blade. Then, .75" (19.05 mm) thick spacer plate is welded between the bracket and the blade or replace the bracket with the 9J8427 Bracket. (See Illustration 2.)
