Location of new coupler springs.After a period of use, the former springs could begin to take a permanent set and result in insufficient force to hold the coupler completely engaged. This caused the gear teeth to wear and chatter.
Adaptable To: The new springs are adaptable to 518 Winches 6KC1607-Up, and to 55 Winches 5YD176-Up for D5H Custom Skidders. The five, new 6Y0755 Springs (outer) and the five, new 6Y0756 Springs (inner) can be installed as direct replacements for the five, former 1K7041 Springs. These former springs are still serviced, so you should write a NOTE in the Reference Article referring to this later article.
