Note: Shaft (13) must be supported with suitable cribbing.
Position planetary assembly (7) onto suitable cribbing.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to torque converter (9). The weight of torque converter (9) is approximately 125 kg (275 lb). Install torque converter (9) and nuts (10) .
Install washer (12) and retaining ring (11) .

Turn over planetary assembly (7). Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to planetary assembly (7). The weight of planetary assembly (7) is approximately 381 kg (840 lb). Install planetary assembly (7) and bolts (6) .
Install guard (5). Remove Tooling (A) and install two of bolts (6) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to planetary assembly (4). The weight of planetary assembly (4) is approximately 533 kg (1175 lb). Use Tooling (C), Tooling (A), and the suitable lifting device to position planetary assembly (4) .

Install bolts (2). Install O-ring seal (3) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to transmission assembly (1). The weight of transmission assembly (1) is approximately 2132 kg (4700 lb). Remove transmission assembly (1) from Tooling (B) .End By: Connect the transmission from the transfer gears. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission from Transfer Gears - Connect".
