At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hands.
Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering the hydraulic system. 1. Remove panel (10). 2. Connect a hose to valve (13) and drain hydraulic tank (12). The capacity of the hydraulic tank is 117.5 liters (31 gallons). 3. Remove four hydraulic lines (1).4. Dirt can damage hydraulic components. Be sure the valve is clean and free of dirt and debris prior to disassembly. Perform the disassembly and assembly procedure on a clean work bench. Scribe a line on the valve body to aid the orientation of valve components on assembly.
1. Remove two connectors (2). Remove two orifices (1).2. Remove plug (5). Unscrew spool (3) from plug (5) and remove spool (4). When installing use 9S3263 Thread Lock on the plug.3. If the two plugs on top the valve are removed, use 9S3263 Thread Lock before installation. To assemble propel cooling valve, reverse the disassembly steps.End By:a. install propel cooling valve
