The new 1G7977 Shaft Group (Part of 1G6990 and 1G6988 Drum Groups) replaces the former 7X8008 Shaft. The former shafts are still serviced. Due to the different shaft weights, the shafts must be replaced as a pair to maintain drum balance. The frequency for low amplitude is now 1400 to 1800 vibrations per minute. This change is effective with 1YJ263-Up, 5AJ57-Up, 8XF488-Up and 7GG189-Up.
