The screed hoist control is located on the machine on the left side of the operator console. This switch is a three-position switch. This switch has a lock in the HOLD position. To move the switch, you must lift the switch handle.Move the switch to RAISE position (1) in order to raise the screed. Move the switch to HOLD position (2) in order to hold the screed in position. The HOLD position will hold the screed in any desired position. Move the switch to LOWER position (3) in order to lower the screed. To pave, the switch must be set to FLOAT position (3) .
