(1) Hand pump (2) Plunger (3) Thumb screw for the needle valveWhen you operate the machine, the needle valve (3) must be in the open position. In order to open the needle valve, turn the valve counterclockwise.Brake Release
Block the drums in order to prevent movement of the machine before you release the brakes. The machine can roll if the drums are not blocked.
Loosen the setscrew on the thumb screw for the needle valve (3) with a 5/64 Allen wrench. Turn the needle valve clockwise in order to close the valve.
Push the plunger (2) by hand until you can no longer move the plunger.
In order to reapply the parking brake, turn the needle valve counterclockwise. This will open the valve.
Use the 5/64 Allen wrench in order to tighten the setscrew on the thumb screw.
