Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the engine enclosure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Enclosure - Remove and Install".

Remove nuts (1) and bolts (3) in order to remove guard assembly (2) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to fan assembly (5) . Remove bolts (4) . Carefully rest fan assembly (5) against radiator assembly (6) . The weight of fan assembly (5) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

Remove belts (7) .

Remove clamps (9) and (10) . Remove tube assembly (9) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to pulley (11) . Remove bolts (12) in order to remove pulley (11) and fan drive assembly (13) from the engine. The weight of pulley (11) and fan drive assembly (13) is approximately 43 kg (95 lb).

Remove bolts (14) in order to separate pulley (11) from fan drive assembly (13) . Use two people in order to lift pulley (11) . The weight of pulley (11) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).
