Remove the engine access cover on the right side of the machine.

Remove the secondary fuel filter. Dispose of the used filter properly.
Clean the filter mounting base. Make sure that all of the used seal is removed.
Apply a light coat of clean fuel to the seal of the new filter.
Install the new filter by hand. When the seal contacts the filter mounting base, tighten the filter by an additional 3/4 turn.Note: There are rotation index marks on the filter at 90 degree intervals. Use the rotation index marks as a guide for proper tightening.
Prime the fuel system.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System - Prime" for the correct procedure.
