Top of Screed (1) Right extend solenoid (extension) (2) Left extend solenoid (extension) (3) Right retract solenoid (extension) (4) Left retract solenoid (extension)The screed is equipped with two extension manifolds. One screed extension manifold controls the left screed extension and one screed extension manifold controls the right screed extension. The valves are mounted to the top of the screed. Each screed extension manifold contains two solenoids. Each solenoid has an associated arc suppressor. The screed extension solenoids are controlled by the screed extension switches. The screed extension solenoids are located on the screed and the machine operator station. The solenoid can be identified by the wiring. The wires are numbered in the following way:
K841-BR wire (left extend solenoid (2) )
K845-OR wire (left retract solenoid (4) )
K842-BU wire (right extend solenoid (1) )
K846-PK wire (right retract solenoid (3) )
