Select "ATT - TWO WAY" for "ATCH VALVE #3". The following defaults will not be adjusted.

Select "ELECTRICAL" for "ATCH VALVE #3 TYPE". Exit the "TOOL INSTALLATION" menu and return to "CONFIGURATIONS" menu.

Select "MODULATION HANDLE" in the "JOYSTICK HANDLE" menu.

Select "ATT VALVE #3" under the "ATCH LEFT MOD MODE" menu.Note: This setting will allow the rotate function of the GLC grapple to be controlled by the modulating control (thumb wheel) located on the left hand joystick. The rotate function must be controlled by the modulating control (thumb wheel). Failure to use the modulating control (thumb wheel) will result in reduced rotation life and premature component failure.
Exit the "CONTROL INST" menu and return to the "SERVICE" menu.

Select "TOOL PROGRAM" from the "SERVICE" menu.

Select the first unassigned tool, probably "TOOL #1".

Enter "GLC 85" in the "NAME" menu.Note: The "MAX DIAL" should be set at 10.

Set "A3 FLOW DIRECTION" as "NORMAL".

The "A3 OPEN TIME" and "A3 CLOSE TIME" control the open and close time for the attachment valve. Adjusting the open and close times can create a delay when the rotate function is activated.

The "A3 EXTEND MAX PRES" and "A3 RETCT MAX PRES" control the maximum pressure for the extension and retraction of the attachment valve. This pressure can be adjusted to very rotation speed. Use 1150 kPa (166 psi) may be used for an initial setting to determine the rotation speed. Use flow measurement devices in order to confirm proper flow and pressure. Refer to Test and Adjust Manual, RENR9986.
Exit the "TOOL PROGRAM" menu.

Select the "GLC 85" grapple.
