Truck EnginesThe 4P6493 Governor Information Plate is available to provide a convenient way for Dealers to identify when a governor on the 1.1 Liter Family of Engines has been reconfigured (modified). The 4P6493 Governor Information Plate has room to stamp the group and lot numbers corresponding to the new governor configuration. The new information plate is sized so that it can be installed on the original 7C5989 Information Plate so that the serial number on the original plate remains exposed.
As with new governors, reconfigured governors should be identified with the new group number AND the change level that it was configured to. The change level is stamped after the group number. For example, in the number 7E0002 05, "7E0002" is the group number and "05" is the change level.
