Information:
This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1306" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1306" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the August 6, 1996 (Revised December 1996) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the PIN prefixes for additional parts and a part number changed in the Rework Procedure.
Problem
A separate TOS harness, a new neutral start control module, and a new transmission oil temperature switch and wiring need to be installed on certain 12H, 120H, 135H, 140H, 143H, 160H, and 163H Motor Graders. These new parts will reduce the possibility of unexpected movement of the machine (when not in park) while operating in temperatures below 0 deg. C. (32 deg. F.)
