Lowering the Suspension
When the suspension is lowered clearances between the machine frames and suspension components are reduced.Persons on or near the machine could be injured by crushing.Keep all personnel clear of the machine until the suspension has been lowered.

Valve (1) and valve (2) are located behind the hydraulic tank for the ejector system and the brake cooling system. The valves are located on the left side of the machine.

Valve (3) and valve (4) are located behind the tank for the steering and fan drive systems. The valves are located on the right side of the machine.

Valve (3) and valve (4) on the right side of the machine.
Open valve (2) until the suspension cylinder on the left side of the machine has fully retracted.
Close valve (2) .
Open valve (3) until the suspension cylinder on the right side of the machine has fully retracted.
Close valve (3) .Setting the Suspension
Note: Set the suspension ride height before the machine is operated and when the oil is cold.
Ensure that the suspension is fully lowered. Refer to "Lowering the Suspension".

Measure dimension (A) .Dimension (A) is the distance between the wheel rim and the bottom of the fender.
Add 80 mm (3.1 inch) to dimension (A) in order to calculate the correct distance between the wheel rim and the fender.
Start the engine.

Open valve (1) in order to raise the suspension on the left side of the machine.Close valve (1) once dimension (A) is equal to the value that was calculated in step 3.
Open valve (4) in order to raise the suspension on the right side of the machine.Close valve (4) once dimension (A) is equal to the value that was calculated in step 3.
Measure dimension (A) on both sides of the machine.If dimension (A) is less than the value that was calculated in step 3, return to step 5.
Shut off the engine when the suspension is at the correct height.
