Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Move throttle control switch (4) to the LOW IDLE position.
Move engine start switch (3) to the OFF position.

Remove test panel cover (5) on the right side of the operator seat.

Disconnect test mode plug (6) in order to disable the propel system.
Assemble Tool (A). Assemble Tool (B).

Remove the bolts and washers, and remove three front panels (7) from the machine.Note: Remove right panel first, then the left panel, then the center panel.

Connect Tool (A) to port "Mp" (8) on the vibratory valve manifold.
Connect Tool (A) to Tool (B) .
Move engine start switch (3) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Move throttle control switch (4) to the HIGH IDLE position.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (C). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 5.6 °C (110 10 °F).

Rotate automatic speed control dial (9) to the middle position. Move parking brake switch (2) to the RELEASE position. Note: If the machine moves during Step 16, immediately return propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position, stop the engine, and repair the problem before completing this test.
Slowly move propel lever (1) to the forward stop and then move the lever to the rear stop. Return the propel lever to the NEUTRAL position.

Move amplitude selector switch (12) to the LOW AMPLITUDE position.
Move drum selector switch (11) to the REAR DRUM position.
Move vibratory mode switch (10) to the MANUAL position.

Press vibratory control switch (13) on the propel lever.Note: Continue to hold vibratory control switch (13) during the next step. The vibratory control switch must be held in the ON position for at least 2 seconds for the vibratory system to actuate.
Watch pressure on Tool (A) for an initial abrupt increase. Record the highest pressure as the intercircuit relief setting. The intercircuit relief setting should be 24000 2000 kPa (3480 290 psi).
Release vibratory control switch (13) .
Move throttle control switch (4) to the LOW IDLE position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Move engine start switch (3) to the OFF position.
If the pressure recorded at port "Mp" (8) is outside the specified range, go to Step 27. If the pressure is inside the specified range, go to Step 32.

Remove cap (14) from intercircuit relief valve.

Loosen locknut (15) on the intercircuit relief valve. Rotate adjustment screw (16) clockwise in order to increase intercircuit relief pressure. Rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise in order to decrease intercircuit relief pressure.
Hold adjustment screw (16) in place, and tighten locknut (15) to a torque of 20 N m (15 lb ft).
Install cap (14) .
Go to Step 12 in order to recheck the intercircuit relief pressure.
Remove the tooling.
Reconnect test mode plug (6) .
Replace test panel cover (5) .
Replace three front covers (7) .
If necessary, lower the machine to the ground.
