Extend nose piece (2) from the housing until the nose piece no longer moves. The nose piece will extend approximately 6.5 mm (0.25 inch).
Install the sensor in the torque converter housing. Tighten the sensor to 25 5 N m (220 45 lb in).Note: Nose piece (2) will contact the rotor and the nose piece will move back into the housing. The sensor is at the correct air gap and no further adjustment is required.
