a) remove crankcase guards1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.2. Drain the oil from the hydraulic oil tank. 3. Remove bolts (1). Pull elbow (2) clear of the bottom of the radiator. 4. Remove bolts (4) that hold the tube assembly to the top of the water temperature regulator housing.5. Loosen the clamp that holds the tube assembly and hose to the top of the radiator. Remove tube assembly (3) and hose from the engine. 6. Remove vee belts (5) from the fan belt tightener. See REMOVE FAN BELT TIGHTENER, Step 1.7. Fasten a hoist to the fan and adapter. Remove six bolts (7) that hold the fan and adapter to the fan drive.8. Remove fan and adapter (6) from the fan drive and put against the radiator core.
Do not cause damage to the radiator core.
9. Fasten a wire around the fan and adapter to hold it in position while the radiator and guard is removed. 10. Loosen four clamps (8) and slide hoses (9) toward the radiator. 11. Disconnect wiring harness (11).12. Remove two bolts (10) from each side of the front of the radiator guard. 13. Fasten a hoist to the lower grille. Remove six bolts (12). Remove grille (13) from the machine. The weight of the grille is 62 lb. (28 kg). 14. Remove two bolts (14) from each side of the rear of the radiator guard.15. Remove the four corner bolts from the cover on top of the guard. Install tooling (A) in their place. 16. Fasten a hoist to the radiator and guard. Remove radiator and guard (15). The weight of the radiator and guard is 1360 lb. (612 kg).Install Radiator And Guard
1. Remove the four corner bolts from the cover on top of the radiator guard. Install tooling (A) in their place. Fasten a hoist to the radiator and guard. Put the radiator and guard (1) in position on the machine. 2. Install two bolts (2) on each side of the rear of the radiator guard. 3. Fasten a hoist to the lower grille. Put lower grille (3) in position on the machine. Install the bolts that hold it. 4. Install two bolts (4) on each side of the front of the radiator guard.5. Connect wiring harness (5). 6. Slide hoses (7) into position on the oil lines.7. Tighten four clamps (6) that hold the hoses.8. Fasten a hoist to the fan and adapter. Put fan and adapter (9) in position on the fan drive. Install the bolts that hold it. 9. Install vee belts (8) on the fan belt tightener.10. Put the tube assembly and hose in position on the top of the radiator. Tighten the clamps that hold the hose to the radiator and tube assembly.11. Install the gasket on the water temperature regulator housing. 12. Install tube assembly (10) on the water temperature regulator housing.13. Install the gasket on the elbow. 14. Put elbow (11) in position on the bottom of the radiator. Install the bolts that hold
