Lift cylinders (5) are mounted under lift arms in the front frame. Access to piston pump (14) is achieved by removing panels under the platform on the right side of the machine. Ride control valve (7) and ride control accumulators (8) are located below the articulation joint on the non-engine end frame. Ride control valve (7) is part of main control valve (1) .Pilot accumulator (30) is located between the towers on the right side of the machine. Manual valve (dead engine lower) (29) is used to lower the lift arms when the engine is dead. Manual valve (dead engine lower) (29) is located between the towers in front of the articulation joint. Gear pump (fan) (20) is located on the lower right side of the machine and supplies flow to the optional quick coupler. The implement hydraulic system features control valves that are pilot operated. The control valves are closed center valves. The control valves are parallel to each other. The system is load sensing with a variable displacement pump and the system has pressure compensation.Brake and Fan Drive System
The brake and fan drive system provides oil to the brake charging system and the fan drive. The brake and fan drive system also circulates the oil to the cooler in order to cool the oil in the hydraulic system. The brake and fan drive system also circulates oil through the hydraulic filter. For more information about the brake charging and the fan drive system, refer to Service Manual module, "Brake and Fan Drive System, Systems Operation Testing and Adjusting" for the machine.Steering System
The steering system steers the machine by changing the angle of the articulation of the machine. For more information about the specifications for the steering systems, refer to Service Manual module, "Hydraulic System Specifications"
