At the TB3 terminal block, disconnect the RVDC3 resistor from the K2 and the L2 terminals.
Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the resistor. The resistance should be approximately 150 ohms.
Measure the resistance between the TB3 terminal block L2 terminal and the ground block that is below the terminal blocks. The resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
Leave the RVDC3 resistor disconnected. Expected Result:The resistance of the RVDC3 resistor is approximately 150 ohms and the ground circuit terminal indicates a good continuity to cabinet ground.Results:
OK - The resistance measurements are indicating that the resistor and the ground connection are correct. Proceed to the Test Step 2.
NOT OK - One or both of the resistance measurements is not correct.Repair: Resolve the problem by replacing the resistor or repairing the ground connection as required.
