Torque to 120 10 N m (89 7 lb ft).
3 3 3B-0645 Cup Plug Before installation, apply Loctite 11358 to the bores for the cup plugs.
Installation depth (G) for cup plug is 1.5 0.5 mm (0.06 0.02 inch).
4 5 3B-0623 Cup Plug Before installation, apply Loctite 11358 to the bores for the cup plugs.
Installation depth (H) for cup plug is 1.0 0.5 mm (0.04 0.02 inch).

8 8 131-0420 Cylinder Head Fastener Gp Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts for the cylinder head:
Refer to Illustration 3for cylinder head bolt tightening sequence.
1. Before assembly, apply clean engine oil to the threads of the bolts.
2. Tighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence to a torque of 30 5 N m (266 44 lb in).
3. Again, tighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence to a torque of 200 15 N m (148 11 lb ft).
4. Again, retighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence to a torque of 200 15 N m (148 11 lb ft).
5. Again, turn bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence to an additional angle of 180 5 degrees.
6. Tighten two bolts (9) only after bolt 1 through bolt 8 have been given the final torque. Tighten two bolts (9) to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
