Loosen breather outlet hose clamp (1). Remove the hose from breather cover (2).
Loosen the breather inlet hose clamp and remove the breather.
Remove the breather element cover assembly.
Check the condition of the cover seal. If the used seal is damaged, replace the seal with a new seal.
Wash the element and the cover assembly in clean, nonflammable solvent.
To dry the element, shake the element or use pressure air.
Inspect the hose for damage. If necessary, replace the hose.
Install the breather element cover assembly.
Install the breather. Tighten the breather inlet hose clamp in place.
Install the outlet hose and tighten the outlet hose clamp.
Repeat steps 2 through 11 for the other breather.
Close the engine access door.
