PELJ1292 ?2011 Caterpillar CAT REMAN ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL CYLINDER HEAD RELEASES FOR MINING AND OTHER APPLICATIONS
Announcement
To fill some gaps in strategy coverage or to standardize certain offerings, Cat Reman is announcing the release of 8 additional cylinder head options.
Additional product offerings are always under development to expand and complete the product line and will be announced soon. Please consult the Cat?NPR in SISWEB (https://sis.cat.com) or use the Reman Cross Reference Tool found in the Quick Reference Tools section on the catreman.cat.com parts page.
Core Acceptance
The following Core Acceptance Criteria are available supporting these products. All the latest core acceptance criteria guidelines can be found on the Reman Dealer Extranet at https://catreman.cat.com/cda/layout?m=260724&x=7
SELD0018 Cylinder Heads (APD and EAME)
SELD0287 Cylinder Heads (Americas Distribution)
A revision was recently completed to SELD0287 that will make the Reman UTN cylinder head options more competitive when the cylinder head blocks are not salvageable. For more information, please refer to SELD1243 which announced this change.

Please consult the appropriate warranty statement for your area.
Core Management
Please refer to the Cat Core Management Information System (CMIS 2) related to the parts information application that describes all Reman part/Core Acceptability Family (CAF) and other related information. Also, refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as: Dealer Customer Profile, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Dealer Add Charges, Dealer Entitlement Activity, Dealer CCR Inquiry, Dealer CCR Entry, Dealer Shipment Processing, Dealer Process Packaging Grief and Reporting. This information is available to all dealers worldwide that have been converted to CMIS 2.
