Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".

Position a suitable jack under transmission guard (1). The weight of transmission guard (1) is approximately 42 kg (92.5 lb).
Remove six bolts (2). Lower transmission guard (1) on pin (3).
Swing transmission guard (1) to the side to allow access to the transmission compartment. Installation Procedure

Position a suitable jack under transmission guard (1). The weight of transmission guard (1) is approximately 42 kg (92.5 lb).
Raise the jack and install six bolts (2). End By:
