Hot oil and hot components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or hot components to contact the skin.
If a hydraulic system becomes contaminated or if a major failure occurs, clean the screen. If a screen is damaged, replace the screen.Before the high pressure screen for the hydraulic system can be removed, the pressure in the hydraulic system must be released. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure Release" for information.

Turn off and depressurize the system.
Drain the hydraulic oil tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for information about how to drain the hydraulic oil tank.Note: There is no provision on this machine to shut off the flow of hydraulic oil between the main filters and the high-pressure screens. Therefore, the hydraulic oil tank must always be emptied before the high-pressure screens can be cleaned or replaced.
Use a socket, or a suitable hand wrench, on the lug at the bottom of the screen housing to remove the housing.
Remove the high-pressure screen from the screen housing.
Clean the screen, the screen housing, and the screen housing base with a clean, nonflammable solvent. Allow the components to dry.
Install the screen in the screen housing.
Install the screen housing on the screen housing base.Note: When installing high-pressure screen housing on the filter base, the housing must be tightened properly. First tighten the housing to a torque of 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft), then loosen the housing 1/4 turn.
